depois de mais de um ano blogando no Blogger da Google, volto para o WordPress. Eles fizeram uma migração que não entendi e acabei me perdendo e perdendo os posts antigos. Vou recomeçar por aqui. Este blog era mais para tentar me conectar global – antes do Facebook e do Twitter serem o hit que são hoje. Os assuntos estão ligados ao que eu gosto de pensar sobre: difusão de inovação, coisas interessantes que vou encontrando pelo caminho. Fiz um link desse blog com a rededeinovadores no Ning, que começou como um exercício de um workshop de inovação e empreendedorismo numa empresa. Agora a Rede de Inovadores está virando um espaço para eu e quem mais quiser colocar informações, perguntas, dicas sobre os assuntos criatividade, inovação e empreendedorismo. Já tem gente bem bacana como membros… Ótima experiência para mim sobre difusão. Uma constante transformação. E vamos que vamos!

There is a lot going on on the web these days: Twitter, Google´s new products and and a massive amount of information available at no cost. And there is music. Early 90´s there was a great change from vinil to cassete, CDs and MP3 systems. Napster started to allow free download of music via internet and the music industry react with law suit. Years later after tons of losses Warner is setting up a new business model with Google in China.

There is also musicians that are in a cooperative way in France.

In Scandinavia , a legal way to music download, with three different packs: with adds, no add 24 hrs and premium.

Nokia and Apple already have a bunch of muisc.

Telecom also have their share: buying  music to download.

Disruptive times where Warner, oddly enough has the biggest chance to be the agent of change.

If we can download music – via YouTube with videos why can´t we download music in the internet?

Following Kodak at Twitter to pick up how (some) companies are connecting to consumers.  Just found that there is a Kodak blog, since 2006.  

Kodak is reportedly trying  to reinvent ifself by shifting its products and services to the new economy, as Nithin Nohria mention in his article at hbswk back 2002.  He makes an interesting comparison of Kodak and GM strategies.

You can also have a fair idea of Kodak´s  innovation portfolio based on some on product launches : less expensive ink , (disruptive?) and digital camera wit more than 50 megapixel (no disruptive).

And, at the same time, they are reaching consumers with social media: strategy, diffusion and innovation at their best.

I found about Twitter a couple of weeks ago. I am searching about diffusion of innovation and voilà .

There are already a group of companies  in this space that  are connecting with people in many different ways. Since then I added a lot of people and company to follow: Kodak, Rubbermaid, Dell, Whole Foods, Jet Blue to name a few. I am interested to see how they connect and how the audience will react. 

Let´s say that you are interested in following someone in the marketing area. Don´t know where to start? No problema, you can select from a (huge) Twitters list.

Want to know who are the executives that are already there. Again, a new list. So far, no records of Twitters executives in the media, at least not in the Business Week.

How they will possibly make money? One successful model is Google´s. Amazon is adding an extra sponsored link, such as Google. How Twitter will make money? They can sell the concept, but it looks like they are not interested. One way already in place is to pay to increase your list of followers. It will cost you US$1 per user, for 6 months and that is, according to Chris Anderson ((I follow him in Twitter), the curador of TED (the best)) it is the same price of a 30 sec add on a late-night show.
